Birch Trees at Brimhall

We worked very hard on our birch tree paintings last week.  This project took us four afternoons to complete!  After we painted our birch trees with tempra paint, volunteers applied a glue-like substance to the trees so the watercolor wouldn't get on them.  We used two techniques with the water colors-dabbing and washing.  We had so much fun!
