Class Pigeons

During the last few weeks, we have been reading Mo Willems' books.  He is such a good writer!  After reading several of his books, we decided that he is a humorous writer.  One of our favorite characters, the Pigeon, is in most of Mo's books.  Sometimes he is hiding in funny places!  Mrs. Rowan showed us how to draw the pigeon.  We then had to add our own creative touches to our pigeon.

Some of us wrote letters to Mo during guided reading time:
