I LOVE TO READ MONTH

February was "I Love to Read Month."  We ended the month long celebration with a party on Friday March 1st.  Mrs. Rowan read us The Mitten.  We then made puppets out of Jan Brett's characters from the book.  Parent volunteers came into our room in the afternoon and helped us decorate and sew our mitten together.  We then partnered up and acted out the story.  At then end of the day we watched Book Flix on the Smartboard and had popcorn!  WE LOVE BOOKS!!!!
